15th Annual IYRS Summer Gala: Weekend Events

 

Friday, July 6th

IYRS | MoY Annual Open Board Meeting: IYRS Bristol Campus - 253 Franklin St. Bristol, RI - 2pm

Join us for the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees. The meeting will feature an overview of the past year’s accomplishments and plans for the coming year. IYRS and MoY are at important inflection points, powered by recent developments in program creation and in further integration of the museum’s work with the school. Despite a very challenging economic climate, IYRS continues to make steady progress. With recent investments in new programming, the school has positioned itself well for enrollment growth and new opportunity. Join us at our new System and Composites Program facility at 253 Franklin Street, Bristol, RI for the annual open meeting of the Board. Saturday, July 7th

Coronet Transom Installation: 9-11:30am - Coronet Building

Dr. Robert McNeil and his team will install a new transom on the 133' historic schooner and talk about the restoration.

 

Afternoon on the Water: 11am-2pm - IYRS Marina

Enjoy a luncheon cruise on one of three extraordinary vessels:  Carl Linne (106' sailing yacht), Whitehawk (104’ sailing yacht) or Cangarda (126' steam yacht) - $150 per person
