2010 Annual Membership Drive - IYRS | MoY

During the past 24 months, membership has fueled support for a string of significant accomplishments at the International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) and the Museum of Yachting (MoY). We have restored and put into service our historic mill building, created a Visitor Center that in a single season increased visitor traffic by 22%, built a new combined museum and school library, and developed more school programming and new living exhibits at MoY. Thanks in part to the support of people like you; we continue to make progress—despite the economic headwinds.

The impact is mission fulfillment: we are educating the next generation of craftsmen and technicians, and providing a unique educational experience for visitors and participants in on-water activities such as the annual Classic Yacht Regatta. But so much of what we do depends on your membership support and your enthusiasm in introducing IYRS and MoY to others.

We hope that we can count on you to help keep our momentum going. We know these are challenging times, but our organization is effectively managing through the challenges and demonstrating its ability to create value—for its students, marine trade partners, and supporters like you.
