Please make a gift to the Annual Fund today!

Your support is needed throughout the year. Together, we will sustain and grow IYRS’ valuable training programs and ensure our students’ success.

Double the impact of your gift!

Many companies offer generous levels of corporate match for their employees’ philanthropic interests. We hope you will choose IYRS as the recipient of these matching gifts. Please contact your company's personnel or human resources office to see if your current employer, the company from which you retired, or your spouse's employer, has a matching gift program.

BOTTOM LINE: 85% of IYRS students graduate with jobs.

Your donation will support the next generation of boat builders, restorers, and technicians. Gifts to the Annual Fund ensure that IYRS continues to preserve the craft and teach a time-honored trade.

Without your support, many of these passionate and often financially challenged students cannot fulfill their career goals.

Your Annual Fund Gift Will...

  • Supply the essentials. From white oak and cedar, to advanced carbon fiber materials, tools and equipment, supplies and teaching aids, IYRS students need proper materials and state-of-the-art equipment to learn and succeed.
  • Retain exceptional faculty. Our instructors are deeply experienced in both the theoretical and practical aspects of what they teach, and our programs mirror that same balance of theory and hands-on learning. IYRS students not only learn “how,” but they also understand “why”—and that ability to think critically and solve problems sets our students apart.
  • Ensure a well-rounded student experience. Students need support and guidance in financial aid, housing, career counseling and job placement. To meet the needs of a growing student body, IYRS is investing in student services.
  • Expand library and Museum resources. The library and the Museum of Yachting at IYRS provides much needed facilities and modern technology to augment both the student and visitor experience.
  • Make an IYRS education affordable. Many of the best applicants would not be able to attend IYRS without substantial financial support. A growing student population means greater need for financial aid.
